With the return of Season 2 of Squid Game we knew we needed to create something that both celebrated the massive fandom and reminded fans of all the twists and turns in Season 1 to prepare them for the game, while remaining rooted in a Korean-American perspective. We started by doing a dedicated rewatch season with guests like Margaret Cho and Dumbfoundead, then continued into Season 2 with an episode-by-episode breakdown of the series with guests like Jason Concepcion.
As Netflix’s first full-video podcast, we partnered with Spotify for outsized promotion and built a robust YouTube playlist on our Netflix account. We also partnered with the Squid Game Live Experience on our production.
