This is something I decided to put together because I know there are a few of you out there who are interested in Glee ratings and others who are worried. At this point, there is nothing to be worried about. Something to keep in mind is that Glee…
Sharing because I’ve been asked questions about Glee, ratings and renewals because I work in TV. I’ve been writing up my own stuff but this gives some great numbers insights, probably greater than anything I can pull together! My only addition would be that outside of ratings there are also content worries that influence advertisers, but that’s more often a worry about reality TV and things like “fighting” on TV shows that advertisers don’t want to be seen promoting — things like Real Housewives might get great ratings, but a product might not want to be associated with fighting. Or things like Intervention, where putting products near drug use isn’t as optimal. Glee can come up against those things when we’re talking about teen sex and the like, but it’s still not as worrisome as a lot of TV is. The only difference is when you compare to something like Greys — they can have scandal storylines because they aren’t marketing to teens like Glee is.
if you can't hide it, just throw some fucking glitter all over it
