My other favorite faux-Gaga photo from the BrooklynBased article, after we came down the escalator into Grand Central. And a bit that was cut that I liked, because we all know I am a geek about teen culture and the internet:
I wonder if the tech savvy tweens of the world believe she’s the real deal, or know she’s an impostor. Renee says it’s a mix of the two.
“Usually the kids don’t care,” she says. “A lot of times I leave the party and they still think it was Gaga. I sign autographs for the kids, I don’t know if they always realize it’s an impersonator or really her. Yesterday, this little seven or 8 year old girl said, “I saw on Facebook that Lady Gaga was in Sag Harbor today. I was like “oh, well…” The kids, that’s their culture now, the Twitter and Facebook at so young.”
There was additionally a mention of how she played a 3-year-old boy’s birthday, because he just loved Gaga. (Also <3 to Vulture, PopDust and Crushable for the lovely links today. If I missed anyone else, sorry you are awesome too!)
